We each have a personal responsibility to show respect for others and their boundaries. Organisations have a professional responsibility to promote workplace health awareness so we can all work together to stay healthy and safe.

OUR STORY

Like many of us around the world, we found ourselves “working from home” or isolated during most of 2020-2021. Even when socializing seemed to be on the verge of normality, we had no idea what the new social norm was. On a first trip abroad since Covid began realised that every government had different guidelines which impacted its communities. In some countries, Covid was less of a threat whereas in other places people were petrified of catching it! Friends we hadn’t seen for a long time were eager for our hugs, but we just wanted to greet them with a gap!

We also had the same issues occurring in the workplace and corporate and social events. We needed a resolution!

Hence Wrist-Averse was born.
